Today was a good day. After all the emotional upheaval I have been through over the last few weeks it is so nice to be able to say that and be telling the truth. I have spent quite a bit of time in "fake it till you make it" mode. This morning while I was riding the train in to the office it was nice to find a smile on my face and realize the smile was genuine. I think I have turned a corner. There are going to be some more bumps in the road ahead however today I was able to smile a real smile. Damn it feels good.
Also I would be remiss if I did not thank Marc Acito for helping me figure out how to get this blog cross-published as a MySpace blog. His solution was so easy I have to cop to being a bit ashamed I did not think of it before. Thanks Marc!
While we are on the subject of Marc you should consider it a moral obligation to go buy his first book, How I Paid for College, which I reviewed here. Once you have done that you must read it so you can be ready to buy his second novel, Attack of the Theater People, when it is released in April. This and Barry Eisler's forthcoming book are the #1 and #2 must-reads on my list for this year.

Nice Blog :)
Thanks so much for the plug about ATTACK OF THE THEATER PEOPLE. Being a novelist is an uphill climb and I need all the sherpas I can get.
When you have a chance, please check out my blog, where I have been trying to do something brand new every day (MarcAcito.blogspot.com), as well as my website (www.MarcAcito.com) for a list of appearances. Hopefully I'll be in your city and can give you a big hug for saying such wonderful things.
Marc
