I have said last year that Israel was entering into the most dangerous period of its entire existence as a nation. That is intensifying this year with the loss of Sharon. Sharon was personally a very likeable person. I am sad to see him in this condition. But I think we need to look at the Bible and the Book of Joel. The prophet Joel makes it very clear that God has enmity against those who, quote, "divide my land." God considers this land to be his. You read the Bible, he says, "This is my land." And for any prime minister of Israel who decides he going carve it up and give it away, God says, "No. This is mine." And the same thing -- I had a wonderful meeting with Yitzhak Rabin in 1974. He was tragically assassinated, and it was terrible thing that happened, but nevertheless, he was dead. And now Ariel Sharon, who was again a very likeable person, a delightful person to be with. I prayed with him personally. But here he is at the point of death. He was dividing God's land, and I would say woe unto any prime minister of Israel who takes a similar course to appease the EU, the United Nations or United States of America. God said, "This land belongs to me, you better leave it alone."(You can view a clip of it here.)
HUH?!?!? Then it follows that God is clearly a hard-assed real-estate developer who just fired Ariel Sharon.
Anyways, enough people have commented on this, so I won’t crap up the internet with more thoughts on it. However I would like to direct you to an entry on Peter David’s blog, titled, “Pat Robertson: Holy Troller.” I cannot think of a more apt description of Pat Robertson. For those of you who don’t know what a troll is, and not the mythological beast, you can read up on it here.
ONN NEWS FLASH
(Opiate News Network)
According to my highly placed sources who wish to remain anonymous (I refer to them as Deep Shit) NBC just offered God a new reality series based on The Apprentice. Apparently this is an attempt to capture the zeitgeist of the series and fill a hole left in the schedule by the failure of Martha Stewart's version of the show.

How many of the other folks Pat Robertson meets with end up dead shortly afterward? Is it conspiracy? Is he the Harbringer of Doom? Or is it merely that the people who are unlucky enough to be in the same room as him for any length of time decide to end it all shortly afterwards.
I was thinking that perhaps the most dangerous thing for Israeli Prime Ministers to do is to meet with Pat Robertson. I want to work on collecting some stats on this.
