Zombie Rights Now!

Is it ironic that in a week where Abram and I have been racing to the bottom of the slippery slope (here, here, here, and here) I stumble across the following?
Lurch of the Dead: Zombies march through the heart of Madison

As reported here last Monday, downtown Madison played host to a zombie uprising Saturday. Whether you want to call it a march, lurch, protest, parade, flash mob or what you will, some 200 of the living dead staggered along the entire length of State Street.
While I am not a fan of the zombie film, or horror in general, this warmed the cockles of my heart. I thought the best part was:
Even some non-zombies participated, largely protesting the protest. With a zombie phenomenon literally sweeping the continent (lurches emerging in Toronto, Minneapolis, Seattle, Portland and elsewhere this month), a pair of anti-zombie partisans in AZAP (Advocates of Zombie Attack Preparedness) attempted to counter their spread. They distributed the following list:
  1. Organize before they rise!
  2. They feel no fear, why should you?
  3. Use your head, cut off theirs.
  4. Blades don't need reloading.
  5. Ideal protection = tight clothes, short hair.
  6. Get up the staircase, then destroy it.
  7. Get out of the car, get onto the bike.
  8. Keep moving, keep low, keep quiet, keep alert!
  9. No place is safe, ony safer.
  10. The zombie may be gone, but the threat lives on.
Sadly the AZAP does not have a website, however Mr. TunaCan pointed me to The Federal Vampire & Zombie Agency website, which contains some very important information.
